Spiritello

The Spiritello is a single-group manual lever machine from Kees van der Westen, handcrafted in the Netherlands. A classic spring-loaded lever gives a thorough pre-infusion followed by a naturally declining pressure — the extraction profile lever machines are valued for. Separate coffee (0.8 l) and steam (3.5 l) boilers in 316L stainless steel keep brewing and steaming independent. A built-in 3.5-litre reservoir and a quiet rotary pump let it work without a plumbed connection; a direct water and drain connection is optional. A round 2-inch display with a push-and-turn knob sets the machine and shows the shot timer and Eco mode; a stop-and-flush button ends an extraction or rinses the group without pulling the lever, and a lever lock prevents the lever from snapping back. The double-walled Zappo steam wand with a PEEK tip stays cool to the touch. 220–240 V, 2,050–2,500 W.
